Help

I can't see so many people's pictures on their blogs. I just have a red X in a box in the top left corner. Doesn't anyone know how to fix this. I feel like I am missing out.

Are you still having the problem? Sometimes Blogger (or your browser or internet connection) just gets a little slow or buggy for a while. I'm trying to think who in your family is tech-savvy...

Well, I am tech savvy and I'll tell you there are too many reasons why it may not be working. But, all the red x means is that your internet browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) did not upload the image successfully. Here's a lengthy list of stuff to try. If it doesn't work, let me know.

Here are some possible reasons:
-your internet connection is slow and it is taking forever.
solution: wait a long time and see if you get them
-the person who created the blog did so in Firefox, but didn't check to see if it would also work with Internet Explorer or visa-versa.
solution: try opening it with the other browser. If this works, get them to fix their blog.
-the person has made those pictures private and you have to log in to see them
solution: ask the person if this might be the case. If so, other people should be having the same problem on different computers. Get the person to fix their blog.
-you have blocked the images through a content filter. (some setting in your browser)
solution:Make sure other people don't have this problem with the sites. If they have issues, it isn't your computer. Then try to find the setting in your browser and undo it. You can always "reset all to defaults" if you don't know where to look.
-you have some security setting that will not allow you to upload from their picture site. (the setting may be in your browser or on your anti-virus stuff). Be sure to restart your computer so the settings will take effect.
